You do not need to write the perfect email or know the name of the service you need. A short explanation of why you are reaching out is enough to begin.
Immediate danger: call 995 or 999, or go to the nearest A&E. 24/7 mental health support: national mindline 1771. Suicide crisis support: SOS 1767.

Quick answers.
Can I contact PGR if I do not know which service I need?
Yes. Describe what is happening in plain language. PGR can help you understand whether one of our programmes or another community, social or mental health service may be a more suitable next step.
Can I walk into Green Hearth?
No. Green Hearth is not a public walk-in facility. Begin with the Green Hearth intake request so the team can assess safety, suitability and available arrangements.
Can parents or professionals contact PGR on behalf of a youth?
Yes. Parents, caregivers, schools, counsellors, social workers and other professionals may make an enquiry. What happens next depends on the young person’s circumstances, age, safety, suitability and the type of support requested.
Is PGR available 24 hours a day?
PGR is not a 24-hour crisis hotline or emergency response service. If you need 24/7 mental health support, contact national mindline 1771. For suicide crisis support, contact SOS at 1767. Call 995 or 999 if someone is in immediate danger.
