Mental Health Community Responders - MHCR

The Mental Health Community Responder (MHCR) program has two components: MHCR Fundamentals and MHCR Training.
The MHCR Fundamentals program, provides education on mental wellbeing and practical life skills to individuals and families. It also covers topics such as trauma awareness, intergenerational trauma impact, love languages, mindfulness, positive attitudes, and self-improvement and awareness discovery plan.
MHCR Training equips learners with basic awareness and responding skills to recognize signs of mental distress, cope with situations, and respond appropriately. Both programs aim to promote mental health literacy and support individuals in managing mental health challenges.
Both programs are 2 hours long.

Our 2-hour MHCR program provides valuable information. A program specially curated to support individuals and families looking to have more self-awareness, understanding of The Fundamentals of Mental Wellbeing and its importance. Inclusive of practical life application skills and stories by persons with various lived experiences from diverse backgrounds.

Active participation and engagement from participants are required to make this a fulfilling learning experience. This is combined with independent learning where participants will do self-learning before session. Participants will collaborate to solve problems, find solutions, and discuss common everyday communication issues.
Individuals, WorkPlace Wellness, Community Settings, Volunteers, Front Line Workers
Upon program completion:
You will be issued with a Certificate of completion. This is a certification of completion and to affirm your support and recognize your contribution to Mental Wellbeing. You can also apply to be a volunteer as a Mental Health Community Trainer with Project Green Ribbon.
Trigger Warning: This program will possibly contain a discussion of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and suicide. We want this to be a safe space for all participants and encourage everyone to use their discretion as to whether to continue engaging with the material and activities. You may also wish to reach out to a member of our team for support.
Participants are NOT TRAINED on how to intervene in dangerous situations that pose a severe risk to others or themselves. Participants will NOT BE CERTIFIED in any way to diagnose, administer any treatment or any professional services.
This is NOT an Intervention Program.

Our 2-hour MHCR Training program provides valuable information and teaches participants how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a mental distress, identify and how to cope and respond to situations in various circumstances. This program also provides Mental Well Being Literacy in Workplaces and how to manage different situations.

Network Of Care - NOC

The Network of Care (NOC) program is a comprehensive 6-month program designed to support individuals in their journey towards recovery and provide them with the necessary tools to lead fulfilling lives. Throughout the program, participants will be divided into small groups of 4, allowing them to cultivate positive experiences through a constructive system of peer support amongst one another.
The ultimate goal is to train these youths to become peer support supporters for the PGR mentorship program, facilitating the growth of the community and contributing to society.
The program is curated for youths between the ages of 13 to 25 years old. We do accept referrals and walk ins on a case to case basis.

We do not provide professional therapy, our model is based on the Multi Level Human System, Family Model Approach.
